Presentation

Le Châtelard was built in the 19th century by M. de la Croix, the great grandfather of the present owner, Mme de Castelbajac.
It is a family château where family traditions are held in respect: welcome, courtesy, politeness.
Four languages are spoken - English, French, German and Spanish.
Situated in the South of the Charente, the Châtelard lies about 50 kilometres from Cognac and Angouleme, 80 kilometres from Bordeaux, St Emilion and Royan. The Dordogne begins about 20 kilometres from the house.
