Chateau du Lude - Visits - Chateaux Country

The outside visit
from10 am to 12 am and from 2pm to 6pm.
At the edge of the Loir, the Lude deploys its imposing medieval walls and its broad ditches which give access to the undergrounds. A balustrade of 200 meters overhangs gardens 'a la française', prolonged of a romantic park and kitchen garden drawn in XIXth century by Edouard André. The outbuildings, always of use, shelter the stables, the collection of arnessing and the Attic with Corn.
The inside visit

The castle is open to public from April first to September 30th ( all year for groups on reservation) , except wednesday in April and May and from 1st to June and in September.
Open wednesday from June 15th to August 31th.
HORAIRES CHATEAU : guided visit from 14h30 to 18h
The parts with vast dimensions follow by their decoration and their furniture the architectural evolution of the Castle and its everyday life. Library, living rooms of pageantry, bedroom, room of music, dining room with the tapestries of Flandres. With not missing : apartments of the Duchess of Lude, the Cabinet of Paintings of the Raphael's school, kitchens of XVth century.
