This is Léonardo's reception where he welcomed François the first and received the great and good of the Kingdom and the artists who came to visit him.
The gothic chairs, chests and tapestries are those the occupants of this house knew. All the furnishing are from the Renaissance

Room 2 : Léonardo da Vinci's kitchen 30m2
A monumental fireplace in front of which the Master used to warm himself on winter evenings. Under the main beam, two rings to hang up the game which would be spitroasted in one peace and tasted with not wine. This bread bin, these rustic benches and these cooper dishes were used to prepare feasts.
The furniture dates from the 16th century.
