Situated in the middle of a charming valley the Château des Saules is a marvelous piece of beauty. Some of the 11th century vestiges are still seeable : in the castle walls you can see the grooves where the dawnbridge pillars fitted in. In the two ends of the old castle, the rests of the two towers have remained.

The present castle date from the 15th century. It's surrounded by moats fed by a small stream that forms two beautiful lakes where a myriad of swans are moving around. The fortifications, partly destroyed by the religion wars are represented by the farm buildings delimiting a great interior farmyard. The Cardinal Mazarin seems to have retired in the castle during the " Fronde " when Louis XIV was a minority (1651 to 1652). It's possible to rent this castle for a few days (6-14 persons), or to receive between 80 and 500 for the organization of a magic event.
