The chateau can accommodate 10 people:
There are 4 magnificent bedrooms, one of which is a suite, all spacious and beautifully decorated. They are all air-conditioned, equipped with a flat screen TV and WIFI. All the bathrooms have jet showers, whirlpool or old-style baths and hair-dryers. Separate WCs.
The lounge opens on to the park with a large, covered terrace. There is a library with a flat screen TV, a stereo system and DVD player. There is a large period dining room and a top of the range kitchen in the chateau?s cellar.

Honour where Honour is due! The biggest room is consecrated to Marie Antoinette.

In this velvet enveloped world, you?ll discover a remarkable evocation of « The queen?s haven »: the watermill, the courtesans, and the jester, with much bowing and scraping, strutting, hand kissing and fussing over elegant damsels dressed in the latest fashion by Mademoiselle Bertin?

The only betrayal of the « Grand Siècle » is the 180x200 four poster bed, which nevertheless is canopied. Also, the bathroom?s throne is duly crowned with royal lilies.

Why name the suite overlooking the court of honour after Sissi?
Situated in the direction of the rising sun, this suite would have charmed the beautiful empress, had her horse drawn carriage made a stop in Tailly. Elizabeth, humble daughter of the countryside, who later became empress Sissi of Austria and Hungary, would have loved the quiet charm of the eponymous salon. She would have been smitten by the regency bathtub with lion?s paws feet, nestled in the centre of the imperially decorated alcove.
She would have known the delights of indoor plumbing and bathroom, in which her handmaiden Fanny and herself would spend 3 hours daily on combing, brushing and plaiting her ankle length « ripe chestnut » coloured mane!
In the rustic parks, the most beautiful empress in the world would have found the inspiration of a poem, maybe even this poem which she wrote from the very depths of her delight:
" Née un dimanche, je suis fille de soleil;
De ses rayons d'or, il me fit un trône,
De son éclat, me tressa une couronne;
Sa lumière est ma demeure sans pareil"

With the temperament of fire and a nonconformist spirit, this room was as much inspired by the avant gardist work of American literature as the jazz culture, as evidenced by the symbols of the fifties that are spread out over the room. You can enjoy the comfort a bathroom of which the likes our globe trotter could have only dreamed of: the invigorating stream of the showerhead and the Jacuzzi. After which, with eyes half closed, you can indulge in some reverie to the signature sounds of Duke Ellington wafting from the microgroove. Swoon to the music of Count Basie or swing along to Ella Fitzgerald: smooth!

And finally, a spiritual retreat is guaranteed in the soft and cosy bedding : your dreams will be cradled on the shores of « the old man and the sea », where they will soar towards the green hills of Africa, the snow of mount Kilimanjaro, under the foliage of orchards in « the garden of Eden »

The Pablo suite is dedicated to the works of it?s celebrated patronymic, the father of cubism.

The striking Provencal inspired trompe l?oeil evoke the happiest period of the painter?s life. At dusk, laze around on the salon?s iron bench with impossibly fluffy cushions and over- ornate back rest. Let the jumbo corolla shaped bathtub, centred in the colossal bathroom, soothe you into a peaceful sleep.

In the morning wake up to the swish of the blinds pushed by a ?young lady of Avignon? with the half profile half portrait face. Dare we say it? Surrealist.
