Poetry & mystery are hidden beyond these romantic walls
Located in Brittany between the famous Mont-Saint-Michel and the very nice town of Combourg.The castle itself was built in 1620, the Louis XIII central building is flanked by two wings at right angles.
Its is surrounded by a classical garden facing the meadows which fits perfectly into the atmosphere of this XVIIth century castle.
Honoré de Balzac was inspired by this landscape in writing "les Chouans".
Open from March to December, offering beautiful decorated rooms with canopied beds and original fire places.
Children are welcome.
Many activities are available on its grounds: horse riding, tennis, golf, open-air theatre and musical events.
Animals are not accepted.
