The outside visit
Open to the public from the 1st of April to the 30th of October (except Mondays and Thuesdays) week-ends and public holidays included from 10 am to 7 pm.
Inspired by the parks of the 18th century, the english Chinese gardens, but also the Swedish Châteaux, Charles de Beistegui increased the number of "Folies" at Groussay between 1950 and 1970.
Landscaping the ground, excavating lakes and canals and building the "stone monuments", over twenty years he imagined and realised a work of art as original as the interior decoration of the château.
