Presentation
11 miles from Mont-Saint-Michel, the domaine of Boucéel dates back to the XIIth century. The château was constructed in 1763 and is part of the Additional Inventory of French Historic Monuments (I.S.M.H.). Built in the typical Saint-Malo style, this family residence has a curved pediment that brings charm to the façade as well as its two wings widely spread out below.
An helisurface is availlable.
Inside, magnificent wood panelling, parquet floors, style furniture and family portraits are tastefully associated. You will find modern comfort in the refined bathrooms.
Historic site where a violent French Revolution battle took place. Chief Chouan du Boisguy (part of the 18th century French counter-revolution) stayed here the night of December 5 th 1795. You will also find souvenirs of the French Resistance in which the owners father participated.
Youll love to stroll in the romantic English style park with ponds, an island, tall age-old trees and a chapel built between the twelfth and fifteenth centuries. Around
the park, the estates farm buildings, meadows, plains and woods will make you daydream and go back in time.
A library is availlable in the castle.
We no longer make wedding receptions inside the house.
